What we believe

The Bible

We believe the Bible is God’s authoritative and inspired Word. It is without error and serves as God’s written revelation to mankind. It is the standard for all matters of belief and conduct of Christians.

God

We believe in one God, existing co-eternally and co-equally in the FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT as the Trinity. God, the Father, is the Creator and Judge as portrayed in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.

Jesus

We believe that Jesus, God’s Son, was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of Virgin Mary, led a sinless life, died as an atonement and substitute for our sins on the cross, rose bodily from the grave, and ascended into heaven, where He currently sits at the right hand of the God, the Father, until He bodily returns to Earth in all His Glory. While on Earth, Jesus was fully God and fully Man and is the ONLY means to Salvation.

Holy Spirit

We believe in the Deity and personhood of the Holy Spirit, who offers salvation, confirms the Christhood of Jesus, indwells believers, enables believers to live godly lives, and bestows gifts to build up the body of Christ, the Church.

Salvation

We believe that man is created in the image of God. However, we believe that sin entered into mankind and the image of God was lost until the advent of Jesus Christ. Only by the Grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, alone can a person be restored to a right relationship with God and be assured of an eternity with God.

The Church

We believe in one holy, universal, apostolic Church with Christ as its head. The purpose of the Church is to both worship and share Christ.
